Requisitions
Whether it is an internal requisition to a store or purchase requisition, CHECK offers simple and efficient interface for creating and approving requests. Each user has the option to raise requests manually, by pre-defined ‘shopping lists’, by handheld-barcode scanner, on the POS terminal (touch-screen) or the system itself can suggest products/quantities to be re-stocked/ordered.
Alerts
No matter the role in an organization, CHECK offers numerous alerts and reminders to ensure a user completes their responsibilities in a timely fashion. Various features exist, from creating tasks for one-self or colleagues, on-screen pop-up reminders or email alerts and automated reminders if an action has not been taken within a scheduled period of time.
Inquiries
Consider the following questions that frequently need to be answered. CHECK is designed to make access to information easy, no matter what the question.
• Who requested those products?
• Do we have the item in stock?
• In what locations do we have that item in stock?
• Has my purchase requisitions been approved, have the items been ordered, delivered and where?
• With whom is the purchase requisition in the approval process?
• What is the total expenditure this month for my department, period to date?
• How much budget remains?
• Who can supply that item?
• How much did we pay for that item over the last 12 months?
Budget Control
Operational budgets (forecast) and CAPEX budgets are easily configured in CHECK. Users can easily check how much of a given budget is available and for CAPEX budgets the system will ensure no one can buy over budget. Various controls ensure that only finance managers can adjust the available budget.
Reports
Reports provide information on expenditure and help with making decisions. Typical examples include:
• What items have not been sold or consumed in X period of time?
• How much budget remains?
• What is our expenditure over X period of time for XYZ supplies?
• Is it time to re-order those items and how much should be ordered?
• What items have not been delivered or are on backorder?
